Today is a special day for the people, who love books about Harry Potter and his friends. And I'm among them in spite of my age). The magnificent magic queen Joanne Rowling, who gave the world a story about the Boy who survived, is celebrating her 53d birthday. She became the author of the whole era and entered the history of literature forever. Let’s face it, we all would like to live in her world: make magic and study at Hogwarts, have unbelievable adventures and such faithful and loving friends. She has made children turn back to books and feel the power of pages. There’s no greater joy than getting lost in a good mysterious story, especially when it’s in English. She has made adults remember feeling young. For me her story is an excellent guide for teaching English.
By the way, today J.K. Rowling shares her birthday with her fictional hero Harry Potter (38 years old!).
All the best wishes and further creative successes for their birthdays!
A pair of weeks ago I bought (only 7£) the used book on ebay. Today I've got it, in very good condition. It's really a pleasure flipping the pages of a paper book! I highly recommend you the online bookstore, where you can buy cheap English books.
